To change the Shark XHF650 filters, follow these steps: 1. Pull up on the dust cup release latch and lift the dust cup off the pod. 2. Press the bottom empty release latch to empty the dust cup. 3. Press the top dust cup release latch to access the dust screen and remove any built-up debris. 4. With the dust cup removed, remove and replace the foam and felt filters XFF650 every 3 months. 5. Open the filter grill and remove the HEPA filter purchased from the I-clean shop.

To wash the Shark XFF650 foams: 1. Ensure the machine is disconnected from the charger before removing the filter. 2. Run water over the outside of the filter until the water runs clear. 3. Leave the filter to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours. 4. Place the dry filter back into the machine.

The HEPA filter fits the following Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away uprights: NV650, NV650W, NV651, NV652, NV750REF, NV751, NV752, NV755, and UV795. Note that the XFF650 foams do not fit NV755 and UV795 models.
